  • In 2013 Heathrow Airport, with the highest passenger traffic in the United Kingdom and Europe, saw traffic increase to record 72.3m passengers, growth of 3.4% on 2012.
  • Revenues reached £2,477m and EBITDA increased, by 19%, to £1,380m.
  • Overall passenger experience at Heathrow has continued to improve. In the independent Airport Service Quality survey, directed by Airports Council International (ACI), 75% of Heathrow passengers surveyed rating their experience as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Very Good’, beating the previous annual high of 73% in 2012.
  • In addition, Heathrow achieved its highest ever overall passenger satisfaction score of 3.99 for the first two quarters of 2013 and 3.97 in the final quarter. As a result, Heathrow has achieved a record overall performance of 3.97 in 2013, reflecting a notable improvement over last year (3.94 in 2012).
