M8 M73 M74 Highway
- Public-private partnership aimed at completing the highway network in Central Scotland between the two main cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
- It will convert a section of the A8 road between Baillieston and Newhouse into a highway, improve the Raith Interchange and extend several sections of the M8, M73 and M74. 28.6 kilometers of highway will be built: 12.4 kilometers will be newly built and 16.2 will be made by improving the existing road.
- The concession will last for 33 years.
- The company will be paid based on availability, linking the concessionaire’s revenue to service levels and infrastructure availability.
